about
The first time Lily saw baby sea turtles, she was nearly ambushed by a flock of hungry sea gulls. She was five years old and stood eye-to-eye with a gull nearly her size, hand on her hips, until the line of tiny turtles behind her finished their maiden trek into the ocean.
That’s when Lily fell in love with turtles, and she’s seen a number of baby turtles since. And far too many sea gulls.
The first time her mother, Candice, visited Rhode Island she fell in love with the ocean front, and never left. She loved it so much she devoted her career to helping visitors create memorable experiences while on the coast.
Encounters with baby sea turtles turned into fishing excursions and whale watching, which turned into scuba certifications and deep dives to get better glimpses of life underwater.
After ten years of taking photos and a career built on public relations and tourism, Lily and Candice combined talents to share their little niche of marine love with the world.
That's us in nutshell (or turtle shell). Our mission is to capture the purity of life in the water, and the love of families across the ocean.
We hope you find a print that brings you joy and reminds you of the water. If you’re visiting the coast, we’d love to help capture your family’s memories, above the water or under it.
